HEXAGRAM 22 OF 64 MOUNTAIN OVER FIRE

GRACE

賁 Bì

grace, adornment, form over substance, beauty, simplicity

ROASTIE

Grace. Fire lighting the base of a Mountain, decoration, form over substance. The book says fine for small matters. You heard "grace" and thought it was about you. It's about your apartment, which is lit like a bistro and furnished like a storage unit, and your bio, which is three adjectives and a sunset. Ya roasted!

THE JUDGMENT

Success. In small matters it is a good time to advance.

THE LINES, BOTTOM TO TOP

  1. Line 1 He adorns his feet; leaves the carriage behind and walks.
  2. Line 2 He adorns his beard; the ornament rises and falls with what is above it.
  3. Line 3 Adorned and glistening with grace; staying firm brings good fortune.
  4. Line 4 Adorned yet plain and white; a white horse comes winged; not a robber but a suitor.
  5. Line 5 Adorning the hills and gardens; the roll of silk is small and thin; some regret, but good fortune in the end.
  6. Line 6 Adornment stripped down to plain white, nothing added; no mistake.
