BAD ADVICE. GOOD TIMING.

HEXAGRAM 32 OF 64 THUNDER OVER WIND

DURATION

恆 Héng

duration, endurance, constancy, marriage, the long haul

ROASTIE

Duration. Thunder and Wind that keep going, constancy, the long haul, marriage. The book means what lasts. The things in your life that last are a subscription you forgot about and an argument from 2019. You're not built for the long haul, buttercup, you're built for the trailer. Ya roasted!

THE JUDGMENT

Success, no mistake. Firmness profits. It is good to have somewhere to go.

THE LINES, BOTTOM TO TOP

  1. Line 1 Seeking too much duration too deeply and at once; persisting brings misfortune; nothing profits.
  2. Line 2 Regret disappears for the one who holds to the middle way.
  3. Line 3 Does not keep his character constant; he may be put to shame; persisting brings regret.
  4. Line 4 A field in which there is no game, however long he hunts.
  5. Line 5 Keeps his character constant; for a wife good fortune, for a husband misfortune.
  6. Line 6 Shaking and restless agitation where there should be constancy; misfortune.
