HEXAGRAM 61 OF 64 WIND OVER LAKE

INNER TRUTH

中孚 Zhōng Fú

inner truth, sincerity, trust, the crane calling in the shade, influence that reaches the dull

ROASTIE

Inner Truth. Wind over the Lake, the crane calling from the shade and its young answering, sincerity that reaches even pigs and fish. The book means trust that goes all the way down. Yours goes about an inch. You'd be more sincere if you thought anyone was listening, and the pigs and fish have stopped. Ya roasted!

THE JUDGMENT

It reaches even pigs and fish; good fortune. It profits to cross the great river; firmness profits.
