HEXAGRAM 13 OF 64 HEAVEN OVER FIRE
FELLOWSHIP
fellowship, community, shared purpose, openness, unity among equals
THE JUDGMENT
Fellowship with others out in the open brings success. Cross the great river; the superior man's firmness helps.
THE LINES, BOTTOM TO TOP
- Line 1 Fellowship offered at the gate, to all who come; no mistake.
- Line 2 Fellowship kept within the clan; there is cause for regret.
- Line 3 Hides weapons in the thicket and climbs the high hill to watch; for three years he does not rise.
- Line 4 Mounts the wall but cannot bring himself to attack; good fortune.
- Line 5 Fellowship first weeps and cries out, then laughs; the great army wins through, and they meet.
- Line 6 Fellowship in the open fields beyond the city; no regret.
