HEXAGRAM 44 OF 64 HEAVEN OVER WIND
COMING TO MEET
an unexpected encounter, temptation, the first weak line, something creeping in, checking it early
THE JUDGMENT
The woman is strong and forward. Do not marry such a woman.
THE LINES, BOTTOM TO TOP
- Line 1 Tied to a brake of metal; firmness brings good fortune; moving on brings misfortune; a lean pig thrashes about.
- Line 2 A fish in the kitchen wrapper; no mistake; but it is not for the guests.
- Line 3 No skin on the thighs, walking with difficulty; danger, but no great mistake.
- Line 4 No fish in the kitchen wrapper; rising from this, misfortune.
- Line 5 A melon wrapped in willow leaves; brilliance kept hidden; it falls as if from heaven.
- Line 6 He meets them with his horns, standing apart; regret, but no mistake.
