HEXAGRAM 45 OF 64 LAKE OVER EARTH

GATHERING TOGETHER

gathering, community, the temple, a leader to gather around, preparedness

ROASTIE

Gathering Together. The Lake gathered up on the Earth, the king at the temple, everyone showing up for one leader. Community, preparedness. The book pictures a crowd with a center. You're the one who posted "who's in?" and got three thumbs up and a question about parking. Gather all you want, sweetheart. The weapons the book says to ready are a folding table and a veggie tray. Ya roasted!

THE JUDGMENT

Success. The king goes to his ancestral temple. See the great man; firmness profits; great offerings bring good fortune; good to have somewhere to go.

THE LINES, BOTTOM TO TOP

  1. Line 1 Sincere but not to the end; confusion, then gathering; one cry, one clasp of the hand, then laughter; go on, no mistake.
  2. Line 2 Allowing oneself to be drawn in brings good fortune and no mistake; with sincerity, a small offering is enough.
  3. Line 3 Gathering with sighs, nothing profits; going forward, no mistake, only slight regret.
  4. Line 4 Gathering others for the sake of the one above; great good fortune, no mistake.
  5. Line 5 Gathering in a position of dignity, no mistake; if some do not trust, lasting firmness makes the regret disappear.
  6. Line 6 Sighs and weeping and tears at being left out; no mistake.
